last night one of the most amazing women i know died.
she lived to be 103, and she was living independently in an apartment downtown.
my great grandmother had had a lot of pain this past year so i know that now she is in a better place, and that even though she hardly ever complained about herself, she is much happier now.
it was just so heartbreaking to see her so fragile, rambling on about...

I am so close to going home.
Just four more days, and I’ll be on a plane back to Seattle.
